I really like the look of the Kaxe Z.
Given its confirmed tweener status, it seems to me that it'd be competing with the Truth/Emac Truth spot in my bag.
Is that a fair comparison? If so, can someone who's got experience with both molds give me the low-down on performance differences...
I bought a big stack of high 160g Opto Catapults since its one of the few discs I can put out to 400' reliably, but is still stable enough to keep a good line in a breeze. I may have missed the Finnish stamp import, but I actually dont remember seeing Finnish stamps for these in the US. :/
I opt for Finnish stamps whenever I have a choice.
Most retailers will note in the description somewhere on listings for the Finnish stamp versions.
English - Finnish
Swan - Tuonelan
Sling - Linko
Longbowman - Jousimies
Sampo - Sampo
Queen - Emanta
Catapult - Katapultti
Destiny - Kohtalo...
while i would love a blend like you're describing, i suspect PocketSand is right. drift and spill both sound suspiciously water related.
also this - per the description of the drift warden, new drift plastic is supposed to come out this year ...
@ Terry - um, thats not a thing.
given how great their winter plastic is for anything but winter I dont have much faith that their floating plastic will float. I assume it will dissolve into miso soup when it hits the water.
One of my Opto Seers has a small thorn embedded in it. Im not sure how it happened either, but that's how I tell my two 175g pink opto seers apart. The one with the thorn was fadeless out of the box. The other one will come back if you let it. The thorn did not change the stability ftr...
damn, there's so much awesome going on in this thread...
dude, everyone is more consistent than Innova.
ppl are right about Trilogy's numbers making discs look glidey, but I will say this - glide is almost entirely a matter of how slow the disc can get before fade kicks in. Trilogy has a few...
OK that makes 3 places. :) Two pro-shops (Mandos is nominally White River pro shop) and Chainbangerz (Lakewood pro shop), and there's a PIAS.. I think the one in woodenville.
I guess its doing better than Prodiscus around here. Almost as well as Discraft.
I've known a few people who tried...
Ya, that's pretty much what I was asking.. I have no reason to believe they would produce an overmolded Pure, just responding to the speculation.
I'm never sure how big MVP/Axiom's market is. I dont see it in the seattle. People are very Innova/Trilogy focused here. I can think of only two...
the Pure is not broken.. why overmold it?
unless there is a specific purpose or flight pattern they are trying to get where they think gyro will work better, i dont see the reason to adopt a more expensive production process.
