I throw a Lucid Escape and a P PD. My P PD is pretty beat and I use it for turnovers and powered down control shots. The Lucid Escape is my go to driver. I feel that it is the most usefull driver in my bag on most rounds. I have had it for awhile now and it flies just like the day I got it...
So I pulled the trigger and picked up a 175 proton Crave and it is awesome! The orange flight plate and blue rim easily make this the best looking disc in my bag. As for the flight it fits nicely between my lucid Escape and my most over stable Nuetron Volt. This thing bombs on a full power...
This is what separates the 'best' from the 'rest'. It's all about timing. The pros have found ways, god given or otherwise, to consistently have impeccable timing. Look at the best ball strikers (golf), the best hitters (baseball), and the best disc golfers and they are finding ways to...
I have a nice over stable 172 volt that handles headwinds great. I have another max weight volt that isn't as stable and will turnover into a headwind... Go figure. Great mold really nice to find a nice OS one.
I think that most peoples middle finger is the longest. The finger that is the next longest seems to vary quite a bit for different people. For example my ring finger is a nail longer than my index finger, but my wife and daughter both have longer index fingers. When I power grip I...
I definitely get the rip off of he middle finger. This is just a theory but I think that some of it has to do wih finger lengths. My middle finger is my longest finger therefore the last finger to get ripped off of the disc during the hit. My index finger is quite a bit shorter. For others...
Thanks Mike. Just ordered a Proton Crave. How's he LSS? Can this be a good long anhyzer disc or does it fight out earlier? I guess I'm hoping for a good shot shaper with reliable control...
How does the Crave compare to the DD Escape? Sounds somewhat similar... I have a couple of Escapes that I throw a lot. Still thinking about giving the Crave a try though. Any thoughts?
The World has a wider rim and is noticably faster. For me the HSS is about the same, but the World has more LSS. I can get both of them to turn with full power. The Trespass fights back right at the end and the World comes out of it and starts it's fade much sooner. Over all distance is...
I ve been really liking my DD Trespass. Flys like a nicely seasoned destroyer. The Westside World is also great for long bombs. It's fast and over stable but not as over stable as the Giant or a Nuke OS.
I just picked up 2 new SS Wizards, an orange with blue lettering and a white with blue lettering, from Primediscs. Both flat and awesome. The orange one has the word "puffy" written on the bottom. Anybody know if this means anything?
It's all in the legs. I like to think of it like a basketball jump shot; square up to the target, bend your legs, and hold the follow through. The farther out you are the more legs you need to put into it. Just like shooting threes.
