I searched and did not see a thread dedicated to only list aces and was curious to see how I compare to the ace's that others here have

What aces do you have, what holes, course, disc used, etc.....

I'll start - I have 5

First ace: Hole #16 - Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA - MRV (pure ace, downhill and blind dogleg left)
2nd ace: Hole #7 - Hickory Run, White Haven, PA - QMS (pure ace, slight downhill with many trees)
3rd ace: Hole #7 - Hickory Run, White Haven, PA - QMS (hit a branch 20 above the basket and dropped straight into the basket)
4th ace: Hole #12 - Hideaway Park, Ruston, LA - QJLS (playing with my 17 year old cousin who was playing his first round of disc golf ever, i hit a tree which sent my drive off course, then the disc hit another tree sending it back on course and directly into the basket!)
5th ace: Hole #11 - Tyler State Park, Newtown, PA - QMS (pure ace, flat 181ft fairway that is about 15ft wide with trees on both sides.)

that is my list - SO FAR!!!!!

Raintree%20Park05.jpg

its pretty much wide open now because of the ash bore stuff....but it was still nice.

Ace #1 - Peaks View Park - Lynchburg, VA - Spring 2003 sometime - Hole 14 ~140 ft. or so? Skip thumber with a 174g elite pro XL.

Ace #2 - Peaks View Park - Lynchburg, VA - Spring 2003 sometime - Hole 3 ~160 ft. or so? Open hyzer shot with basket on the side of a hill with a 174g Champ Shark.

Ace #3 - Tyler State Park - Newtown, PA - 12/26/2006 - Hole 7 long tee to A-pin 240 ft. - Gradual turnover with a beat to hell 180g Glow Roc.

#1 Hole 3, Expo Park, Z Flash (315' straight w/ fade)
#2 Hole 5, UNC, Z XS (short, forehand S shot)
#3 Hole 1, Expo Park, Z Buzzz (250ish slight uphill, straight w/ a touch of fade)
#4 Hole 7, UNC, X Cyclone (290' all hyzer into a headwind)
#5 Hole 3, UNC, Z Glide (alternate Tee, 250 uphill slight left to right tracking)
#6 Hole 5, UNC, Z Wasp (Backhand skip shot)
#7 Hole 4, UNC, Med Wizard (225' Nose up stall out floated right in)
#8 Hole 5, UNC, X Storm (forehand faded right in)
#9 Hole 8, UNC, X Pred (Huge knife hyzer 270')

I want an ace at a different course (mabey I should get some guys togeather and play the other greeley course today)

I love how my list looks like I must throw all discraft. Its pure coincidence. But for the first 3 I only had 2 or 3 discraft discs in the bag, the rest was innova.

Only one...

Cedar Hill, TX - Lester Lorch Park, Coyote Course, Hole #7 (shortest hole on the course :D )

Dead straight shot with a new "soft" KC Pro Roc (175 gm).

I have several more aces on the object course here in Murray but the only aces I have on a course with baskets came years ago. I went from about 1984 till 2006 without playing.

Ace #1 Iroquois Park Louisville KY 1984 Hole # 7 Mold 80
Ace #2 Iroquois Park Louisville KY 1984 Hole # 7 Mold 80
Ace #3 Iroquois Park Louisville KY 1984 Hole # 4 Mold 80

Only three for me so far.

1) #12, Vollrath Park Sheboygan, Champ Rhyno
2) #6, Crystal Lake Park, Beaver Dam: Wizard
3)#9, Mead Park Stevens Point, SOLF (first time trying out the disc too :))

pd

1. hole 3 Davis, California, ~1989, 86 Softie.
(this is a pitch and putt course and it seems silly to count, but an ace is an ace)

2. hole 18 Low Gap Park, Ukiah, CA, 1997, longish straight downhill shot with fade, beat roc.

3. hole 8 Grass Valley, CA, pin in far right position, 2006, short heavily treed uphill, tight s-curve with a new star sidewinder.

At this rate I should have a few more in a couple of decades! Actually I've hit chains or metal off the tee 4 times in the last few months, so I'm hoping that I've saved up some good disc golf karma to come around soon.

1. Nov 2002 - Morley Field - San Diego, CA - Hole 4, far left position (~180 ft, downhill) - CE Eagle spike hyzer

2. April 2003 - Skyline Park - Napa, CA - Hole 8 (~340 ft, slightly downhill) - Champ Teebird, flat hyzer

3. August 2006 - Hellyer DGC - San Jose, CA - Hole 3 long (~330 ft, downhill) - Star TeeRex, flat hyzer that skipped in

4. January 2007 - Chabot Park - San Leandro, CA - Hole 1 middle tee (~300 ft, slightly uphill) - DX Valkyrie, hyzerflip that nicked an overhanging tree branch about halfway to the hole, thus perfectly deflecting the flight path about 10 feet to the right, so that it hit dead center chains.

(I didn't play any disc golf between about July 2003 - July 2006  )

Warwick Hole 2 S-S - Glow Wizard
Warwick Hole 3 S-S - Champ Teebird
Warwick Hole 7 S-S - BS Roc

Aces with a Wizard, Roc, and Teebird :)

#1 - Wickham Park (Marchester, CT.) Hole 5 - Dx Shark
#2 - Cross Farms park (Tolland, CT.) Hole 1 - Star TL

#1 - Hayling Island - Hole 9 ~70m - Stratus - hyzer flip to a blind pin
#2 - Colchester - Alternate Hole 3 ~50m - APX, on a wire, never left the chains
#3 - Rotterdam - Hole 16 ~85m - Z Wasp - anhyzer the whole way, I actually left the tournament with 5 total for this hole over 3 rounds, I hit metal all 3 times
#4 - Whitcombe Farm (Ancient) - Hole 13 ~75m - Star Wraith - hyzer bomb over trees to a blind pin

3rd Ace: Hole #3 Westlake Disc Park Grand Junction Approx: 230ft - DX Roc *Ace cracked the disc
4th Ace: Hole #4 Westlake Disc Park Grand Junction Approx: 192ft - Wizard

9th Ace: Hole #5 Westlake Disc Park Grand Junction Approx 255ft - Z Predator on a sick ass Hyzer line around trees. Threw it to see if I could make it around and I did right into the basket. That was the loudest ace I've ever heard.
10th Ave: Hole #8 Westlake Disc Park Grand Junction Approx 200ft - DX Roc Straight at the Basket, dead center chains and in :) Finally!!!

**EDIT** Got my 10th Ace Hole #8 West Lake 6/29/07

Only one ace, .
Channahon, IL #6, 305ft, slightly downhill, went straight at it instead of the local huge hyzer route, Star TL.

I've had two.
First one was #7 At Lakewood in Seattle. Slight S turn and banged in perfect with a 169 roadrunner
The second one was #15 at Oak Grove in Pasadena. Into the wind it hit the ground next to the big tree and skipped in. I threw 169 DX Wraith.
That's it for me so far!
