Getting closer to a consistent 400+ RHBH, but need a checkup!

Hey guys, quick checkup needed!

Been doing a ton of work the last few months on my BH and it's been up and down, but I'm getting to the point where I'm feeling a good whip, I'm feeling braced up decently, and I'm cracking 400+ more regularly. However, I'm still not feeling great about my run up. Been kind of jumping around between pendulum, bent elbow, weight shifts, and likely lots in between. When watching myself it kinda looks wonky or that I'm doing too much. I'm getting around my disc okay, I'm very wide rail, but there might be a weird balancing act I'm doing. My x-step seems like it might be too big, for one. I also can't get my back arm to behave consistently even though I just want to keep it strong and tight to my side. Easier said than done. It has a mind of its own.

Here's a Valkyrie I got out to 420 (UDisc). Can you guys let me know what could use some work but also anything (if anything) I'm doing okay/well? I'm feeling good about my progress at times but other times I don't and I worry that I'm cementing bad habits with all the work I do. But I must be doing something right to hit 420 a few times today! Anyway, I could use some encouragement to go along with the critique :)

Thanks!

1. when your plant foot (right foot) goes to land its like your upper body is falling back behind you

at the end of the throw you end on on the right side of the teepad

we would like our spine to be more inline with the plant leg during the downswing

2. before your plant foot lands and your bodys momentum is pushed on your plant leg you already start your downswing

thread below will give examples on helping with this movement + athletic timing

Hey thanks for the feedback! I think the accentuated body lean may have to do with how big my x-step is. I really have to lean far to work around the disc, keeping the disc still in space. Will try to cut down on how big my x-step is. Also, I'm reaching full extension way too long before I plant. I think I should be hitting that full extension and planting at the same time more or less. However, I have seen clips of pros where the disc is coming forward a bit before the plant. There might be a little wiggle room there. Open to all suggestions!

i dont think you have much of an xstep vs closing your hips from the basket and walking backwards

video below will go with the first attached photo of walking backwards

this step is way to long and its really making your hips turn really far away from the basket (pelvis is like 145 degrees from target)

if we look at simon he is upright and his left leg isnt making that long of a stride (pelvis is 90 degrees from target)

im not sure what they were trying to accomplish? my favorite thread about when the disc should move for the downswing

timing has been a hard thing for me to get down consistently. my favorite threads/videos have been

what those videos showed me were multiple drills that let my muscles obtain a feeling of when the weight/force was all on my plant leg for me to then begin my downswing. during practice its not something i think of but just feel. one golf video calls it 'athletic timing'

Some weird crouched posture(anterior pelvic tilt) going into x-step and then you get taller striding into plant extending spine(looking at sky) disengaging core/abs/glutes. Eagle goes into x-step tall and gets shorter into plant by engaging the core/abs/glutes flexing the spine.
