Four new disc models are underconstruction, and they will all be available in Yikun's premium plastic blends. All the designs are created by Chinese artists according to Chinese ancient creatures from The Classic of Mountains and Seas

1. Gui (旋龟)
xuangui.jpg

Story behind Gui:
'The Guaishui River flows out of a mountain called Niuyang and runs swiftly to the east before it finally empties itself into the Xianyi River. In the river there are many big turtles called Xuangui, which look like turtles and have a bird's head and a snake's tail. They make a sound like a piece of wood being chopped. Whoever wears it in his belt, he will not go deaf and it can cure him of his calluses. '

2. Hu (九尾狐)

Story behind Hu:
'300 li further east is a mountain called Qingqiu. On its southern slope there is a great deal of jade while on its northern slope there are rich deposits of dark cinnabar. There is an animal which looks like a fox and has nine tails. It makes a sound like a human infant. Whoever eats it, he will be free from the plague of a malign force. Later in history books like Book of Zhou and story collections like Extensive Records of the Taiping Era, the nine-tailed fox was depicted as a beast of fortune. Sent by the heavens, the nine-tailed fox was seen as a sign of fortune, peace and luck. In the Han dynasty, it is the protector of royal blood. However, it can also represent an omen of revolution when the Emperor is not good.'

3. Gou (天狗)

Story behind Gou
'300 li futher west is a mountain called Yinshan. The Zhuoyu River flows out of this mountain and runs to the south before it empties itself into the Fanze marsh. In the river there are lots of purple veined shellfishes. There is an animal called Tian Gou (Sky Dog) which looks like a leopard cat and has a white head. It makes a sound like a yowling cat and it can be used to guard against misfortune.'

4. JingWei (精卫)

Story behind JingWei:

'200 li further north is a mountain called Fajiu where there are plenty of three-bristle cudrania trees. There is a bird called Jingwei which looks like a crow and has white markings on tis head, a white beak and red claws. It is named after it call. The bird was originally Nü Wa, the youngest daughter of Emperor Yandi. She was drowned when swimming in the East Sea and was unable to return. Thus she transformed herself into the bird Jingwei and often brought stones and small twigs from the mountains nearby over the East Sea. Jingwei even has a short dialogue with the sea where the sea scoffs her, claiming that she wouldn't be able to fill it up even in a million years, whereupon she claims that she will then proceed to take ten million years, even one hundred million years, whatever it takes to fill up the sea so that others would not have to perish as she did. From this myth comes the Chinese expression 精卫填海 ("Jingwei filling the sea") meaning a symbol of dogged determination and perseverance in the face of seemingly impossible odds.'

I'm more interested in whether their flights could be described as having "predictable fade".

Nice

The already released Yikun has been great! Can't wait to see what these will be like!

Those are some sweet, sweet stamps. You guys are on a Westside level of design for stamps which is impressive.

Make an oversized disc driver that has the distance of a driver, control of a fairways driver and fade of a midrange.
