I've been using clear vinyl contact paper from Hobby Lobby and its been working great but what bothers me about it is that after I peel it from the disc it leaves a sticky residue thats hard to get off.

Do other materials such as the oracle vinyl have this same issue? If anyone else is having this problem, how are you going about removing the sticky residue? I've used 91% rubbing alcohol carefully and it takes forever. How much will acetone remove dye from the disc?

Acetone will take dye off and possibly spread it around. I use Goo Gone and a regular kitchen sponge. Not a problem.

I have the same issue with Oracal 651. I like to dye a little warm so the color takes more quickly.
