Still some standing water after the rain we’ve had.
Completely level terrain with fairways weaving throughout this compact park. Plays among a generous mix of mature hardwoods and pines. A good mix of shorter and longer shot shaping holes will ask for controlled accuracy while still being beginner friendly. Potential for lots of standing water (known as big water - see course map) off the fairways after heavy rains and/or wet seasons that will come into play and is considered OB. Course drains and dries relatively quick in warmer weather.
(If you hear a horn blow - it is a warning for those on the river the dam is about to start releasing water meaning the level of the river is about to rise)
From downtown Cartersville: Take West Main Street westbound for about 1/4 mile and take a left on Etowah Drive. Follow for 1.7 miles and take a slight right onto Pine Grove for about 100 yards to a right onto Parkview Drive. You will see gravel lot entrance on your left. Park at the far end of lot and look for the DG kiosk and red practice basket.
First tee just beyond the kiosk in the wood area. Look for the hanging Deerfield Disc Golf sign.
