Awesome property, awesome new course!

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 22, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Course infrastructure is super solid, color coded baskets
- Really awesome disc golf only property!
- A course to showcase the cannon arm if you got it
- Many different styles of holes and many different obstacles
- In order to score well you need a BH, FH, OH, rollers, etc.
- Great use of elevation and creek crossings
- Love the purple turf pads for the elevated holes
- Throw it offline and watch the strokes add up
- Two other courses on site and a pro shop/other amenities
- Grass and bald/dirt greens add difficulty upshotting
- Gorgeous area, aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and ears
- Wildlife including birds, lizards, and the neighbors dog who kept us company most of the day. There are even mooing cows on site that are just adorable and friendly

Cons:

- Long day for those of us with noodle arms
- Creek crossings are difficult on my ankles, rope assistance on a few were required but my 70 year old dad did it so not horrible
- Some overlap with the other big course on site as far as walking near other fairways or greens
- Hole 8 was borderline unplayable, owner told us that before we played but forgot and our feet and shoes got muddy and wet. I almost left without my shoes on a few steps!
- There is a spring in the course that is pumping water up from the ground in many spots combined with a recent rain added standing water and mud all over the place

Other Thoughts:

Overall one of the best courses in the entire state! This piece of property is a hidden gem at this point and one of the best disc golf mecca, multiple courses on site type of courses I've ever played. It's near Dinosaur Valley State Park and Pacific Rim so there are other things to do in the area as well. The Big Cup Eatery (I think it's called that) in town has good beer and breakfast. I was lucky enough to play with Aclay from here who beat me to reviewing it! Good review buddy, hope to play with you again! Overall worth the trip from anywhere even the 22+ hours I spent driving from Idaho.
