Extremely Fun Course In a Beautiful Area With Lots of Elevation 2+ years

Pros:
- Not the "best" course I've ever played, but definitely one of the funnest.
- Brand new Discatcher baskets
- Great course map signage and individual tee signage
- In general, 10 foot patio stone tee boxes framed in with a 4x4 wood border are good (but see note below)
- Great elevation changes with some really huge uphill and downhill shots that were a lot of fun.
- Good mix of distances, with a few Par 4s of decent length mixed in.
- Didn't feel like it favored backhand versus forehand players or vice versa, I throw both and used an equal mix of backhand and forehand shots both off on the tee and on approach shots.
- Two sets of tee pads on multiple holes, with legitimate differences between the pads.
- Course wasn't busy enough to get a really good sense of it, but I think the fairways are distinct enough from each other that you don't have to worry too much about other players throwing into your fairway, in spite of how crazy the elevation differences can be.
- Loved the topography, a surprisingly open forest with sandy / rocky floor that is very clear of underbrush.
- You likely won't lose too many discs on this course, wide open and easy to see the ground in most areas.
- Easy to navigate from hole to hole, course was accurate on UDisc but could have easily just intuitively figured things out. Love how they show the next tee pad on the individual hole signs.
- Lots of small benches scattered around the course.

Cons:
- Don't bring a cart or stroller on this course.
- Not good for people with mobility issues or who are shaky on their feet. Especially if the course was wet or icy, there's some steep little sections.
- Parking situation isn't ideal, there's no parking lot. You need to park down on a very tight road leading up to the course, and it was filled up when we were there on a weekday evening, on a busy day I imagine you'd have a long hike up.
- Poison Ivy on the course! If you're not familiar with poison ivy, it's not something you want to walk around in. Patches were marked with signage, we didn't see any that wasn't marked elsewhere.
- Although the tee boxes are generally good, a couple of them have some drop-offs at the front and are uneven behind, meaning your run up and follow through is limited. On a couple of holes I had to modify my run up to make sure I didn't wipe out / bail.
- Bike paths through courses result in cyclists pedaling through fairways. Only saw a couple of groups when we were there.

Other Thoughts:
- No washroom, didn't see any garbages, no clubhouse or other of those types of amenities.
- It's quite a decent up and down hike throughout the course, good little workout compared with most courses.
- It's a course where the challenge (aside from the elevation) comes from forcing you to shape your shots and hit windows and a couple of mandos. Very reasonable lines everywhere, the only hole that's a bit of a plinko-show without super clear lines to the baskets is 17.
- Some definite risk/reward basket positions on slopes and on top of little mounds where if you make your birdie run from edge of circle you might be heavily punished for roll outs.
- This course feels like someone mashed up Whistler DGC with the Wayne, AB (Lost Egg) course, it really was a great disc golf experience and worth going out of your way to check out.
- It was hot and dry when we played, good idea to pack in some water.
- Naramata is a beautiful area filled with vineyards, it's a gorgeous drive up to the course.
