Play through course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 22, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great for beginers. Very open, but a good mix of long and short with hills and water hazards. If I lived closer to this course, I would play it every day just for practice.

Cons:

Very open and simple for more experienced players.

Home town course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 25, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Wide open areas allow for beginner players to make mistakes without paying dearly at each hole. Though there are 2 holes in particular hole 6 and hole 17 that are quite hazardous for beginners as they play heavily with water hazards.
All the baskets are in very good shape. Though the same cannot be said for the sign posts that are continually vandalized. But there is a red chain on each hole that points you in the direction of the next tee.
It has many elevations changes and can be played in 60-90 minutes if you don't push yourself to get done quickly and just enjoy the walk.

Cons:

Sign posts by holes are regularly vandalized and therefore most of them are missing. On a windy day with the hills in play on this course, and the complete lack of cover, it can be near impossible to even shoot rec par for an average player. Though a player of higher skill will find this course quite easy on any calm day.
After it rains hole 10 can be under water in the middle for a week at a time. Nothing more than a few inches but still making it a pain to play around without getting your shoes all wet.

Other Thoughts:

Though a simple course, it is a great course on calm days for beginners. The open shots; the simple, once known, layout; and the quick time it can be played in make for an enjoyable if, not particularly memorable experience.

Mellow Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 24, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

On certain days when the weathers 90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, you don't really want to be looking for your frisbee in a massive tree or clump of bushes. This course has nice distances, real nice hill shots structured around a big hill in the middle and launching in three different directions I think... at least two different dierections and then back up one of the sides lol. I did lose a wolf to the pond on hole 17, I was upset because I'd been having a really good game of 6 under playing them all par three and then boop... in the water with my wolf. There were people swimming around feeling the bottom for frisbees, seemed a very relaxed course for being next door to a skate park. This course has all the major disc golf food groups (water/wood/field/trick) it just lacks difficulty which is what makes it oh so perfect for a blazing day in the sun.

Cons:

The markings are confusing. You put a frisbee in a basket and then look around... and look around... then you see a sign rotated in your direction and that's where you go. It's bad for a first timer to the course but if it's in your backyard it's not a problem.

Nicely Maintained 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 18, 2007 Played the course:never

Pros:

Nice course, well trimmed grass in an attractive multi-use park. Some elevation, some trees, a large pond and a small but deep stream come into play on several holes.

Cons:

Was quite windy on the day we played it which made the water holes a little more dangerous. Not easy to play just the front 9 or back 9 due to the design of the course (after nine you are stranded on the far side of the layout, rather than returning you back to the parking lot)

Other Thoughts:

A little longer on some of the holes, and with some rearranging, this could be a first class course.
