Pros:
Kudos to the owners and property managers at Alamance Reserve Apartments for putting in a disc golf course for their residents (and people who call for permission to play). There isn't much to work with on the property, but they jammed a course in there and it sort of works.
+ While the course is very short and not especially challenging, it does offer a variety of shots off the tee. Hole 1 is a hyzer around some guardian trees and over a small stream. Hole 2 plays down the same stream. These two holes, plus the last 3, which are out in a field away from the apartments, are the only decent ones on the course.
+ Hole 7 actually has some distance at 300'+.
+ Hole 8 is a sharp, blind flick or anhyzer for a righty.
+ Hole 9 has decent distance also.

Cons:
Again, I applaud the attempt to install a course here, and if I lived in the apartments, I'd appreciate the opportunity to practice here (although I'd probably only do the last 3 holes on a loop), but there are quite a few cons.
- The "tee pads" are tiny and made of a few square tiles placed together. They're more in the way than they are helpful. I just played from the grass behind or beside the pads.
- There are no navigation signs and there are pretty long walks in between some of the middle holes.
- Not challenging at all. Very short, except for holes 7-9.
- Some of the holes are way too close to apartment windows (hole 6) and parked cars (hole 7). Holes 1 and 9 are way too close to roads. In other words, there is not much land here, they jammed a course in, which is great, better than nothing, but I'd say there's a good chance of property damage, especially for the rec players this course caters to. That's my main gripe for this course.

Other Thoughts:
Not one to go out of your way to travel to, but it's right off I-40 (you can actually see the interstate from the course and you can see the apartments from the interstate), so if you want to notch a course, call ahead and make a quick stop. Just be respectful of the property, make 100% sure you don't hit any windows, buildings, or cars, and pack out your trash.
