Pros:

Good flow. Nice mix of wide open holes & wooded holes. Like some of the goofy rules the course has. Like one hole you throw between two electric poles. If you don't throw between them it's a one stroke penalty.

Cons:

Some standing water on holes 8 & 9. Very flat. Not really that challenging. Too short.

Pros:

A fun course. Locals are very friendly. Easy and relaxing if youre just looking for a quick nine. A good variety of open and wooded holes. A lot of improvements have been made, such as mulching the wooded fairways, recently. Also a practice basket available at the beginning of the course.

Cons:

While the course has multiple tees, they dont always make sense. Sometimes they arent that far apart, and other times the tee is almost in the fairway of another hole. The mandos are also a little ridiculous, especially on hole six. In the picture it shows the mando on the hole as to the left of two telephone poles, but now its actually between, which is sometimes hard to hit with the angle of the tee. Trash can become an issue.

Other Thoughts:

I do enjoy playing this course, as it is quick and fairly easy. Multiple birdie and ace opportunities, and i have hit some of both. However, dont underestimate it as i have before, still take it seriously.

fairly nice little course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 19, 2011 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

baskets in great shape, easily seen with the orange paint. pro and amateur tees. never seen it very busy/ usually no waiting. hard to lose a disc. practice tee at parking lot. bathroom/pic-nic areas at parking lot

Cons:

couple of big hidden holes in open fairway, old road running thru front 4 holes will scratch and ding up your disc pretty good if you hit it.

Other Thoughts:

not a bad little 9 holer, good practice course. can only really air it out of a couple holes. finesse shots thru woods can give you easy birdies on a few in the woods. all in all, i like playing this course

Short Flat Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 22, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a brand new course.

Great signage from the drive all the way to the first tee.

Directions on how to play next to the parking lot make it easy for new comers to learn how to play.

2 tee boxes give you multiple options; Especially on hole 6. It gives you two completely different feels to the hole.

Brand new baskets are easy to see.

Cons:

Not much variety in the holes. The first 4 holes are almost all straight shots with no obstacles. There is not much variation on these holes.

The final 5 holes all have the same feel to them. They are in a wooded area, but almost all of the holes are straight shots without variation.

Its the fall so the underbrush and small vegetation was not a problem, but in the spring and summer this could be a real issue.

The tee boxes are only marked by small orange and blue flags. Hopefully, in the future some more permanent signs and tee boxes will come to this course.

This area is prone to flooding, so this course might be unplayable during the spring and summer months.

The last 5 holes on the course were all unplayable on today 11/22/09, due to being to wet. Hopefully some drainage will be installed to solve this problem.

Other Thoughts:

With a little work this could be a great 9 hole course. Better tee boxes and signage, and some general maintenance will could put this course up there with Watson Trails in my book. Better pin placement, could make this course more of a challenge for experience players. Great for anyone just starting out to get their confidence up early.
