Pros:
+concrete tees, pro prodigy baskets, & tee signs
+lots of trees - tight but fair windows through the trees
+interesting basket placements - a couple up in rocks
+elevation utilized - up, down, & level shots
+navigation - easy to find next tee by looking around
+no ground cover to hide discs
+not busy - played on friday afternoon & i was the only one
Cons:
-other park users - mostly walkers doing the loop around the park
-all similar shots - hit the gap through trees
Other Thoughts:
in art gibbon memorial (rosemont) park, amongst all the tall evergreen trees, you will see highly visible bright red prodigy baskets. look further and you will see some small (30x30cm) signs with descent sized concrete slabs (2m) near them. be aware of other park users (safety first) then challenge yourself to hit your line through the nicely spaced trees. once you make it to the circle be sure to make your putt as most of the greens have a drop off or slope with roll away potential. overall not a super hard course if you have some accuracy with all distances being less than 100m.
no spectacular views through the trees here, but plenty of great mountain views in most all of british columbia.
short, so it plays quick with no searching & being able to see all the baskets from the tee. i enjoyed it & if i wasn't in a rush i would have played a second round.
