Idlewild is far from the city, up in the mountains east of hemet ca. You won't have to worry about other dgers. Nice views and wildlife. Course is clean. There's a good mix of distances and left and right shots.

Idlewild is faaaaar from the city up winding steep narrow roads. You have to get permission to play and its not easy. There aren't any real tee signs to speak of. There's a couple spots where the rough will swallow discs. There's room for 18 but they stopped at 9. No real teepads, just dirt or grass. No restrooms available for guests.

Astro camp is on a kids summer/science camp and they won't let you play if kids are there. I stopped by one day cause I was working in the area and asked about playing. They said no but I left my # and they called when the kids had left and told me to come on up. My wife and son had fun walking with me and checking out the zip line and mud pit and other science camp stuff. We even saw a big doe about 20' away. I wouldn't drive up here to play this course again but it was ok once. The camp staff was super friendly.
