Nothing Too Special Here 2+ years

Pros:

Aumiller Park is a (meh) course on the edge of the Sandusky River.

There are some fun holes here that keep things interesting, despite the lack of elevation changes. Liked playing holes 11-13 along the river.

Good mix of wooded holes and more open holes, pretty much a 50/50 split.

Back 9 is pretty good for beginners.

A few benches, with trash cans scattered about.

One of the only places to throw in the Bucyrus.

Concrete tees and DiscCatcher baskets on every hole, even though the baskets are starting to wear down.

Cons:

Most tee signs are either missing or unreadable. A lot of the holes are pretty easy to figure out, but tee signs are pretty important for me.

There's a couple navigational signs on the front nine, but ZERO on the back. Make sure you have the map ready on your phone. Just some tape on the bottom of the basket can easily fix this.

This place kind of has a rundown feel to it. Baskets are rusty, signs are missing, the park isnt the cleanest.

Most holes are under 300 feet, providing no real challenge to advanced players. Shot under par on 18 for the first time in my life.

Not many memorable holes. Lack of elevation is a factor in this.

Lots of traffic on the course. Dog walkers, joggers, and kids flooded a couple of the fairways.

Front nine doesn't drain well. Very muddy after a few days of dry weather.

Other Thoughts:

Overall, Aumiller Park doesn't live up to its rating at this point in time. Poor navigation and lack of basic course amenities didn't leave me satisfied. Not a course I would return to.
