Pros:
Obstacles on holes 6-8 lead to some interesting shot selections.
Plenty of parking.
Easy navigation.
Birdie chance at 2 if you can avoid the tree and get a good angle on your throw (see cons).
If you like rollers, holes 4 and 9 will be to your liking.
Cons:
This course is severely affected by wind. Hole 2 can go wild with winds that shift directions, for example, leaving you hopelessly far away for a second shot on what should be an easy hole.
There are 4 open holes, with no obstacles other than the above.
Course favors rhbh and lhfh players. Rhfh and lhbh players will find holes 5-7 difficult to get near the hole on a tee shot, and it is easy to end up in the brush.
A missed throw to the left on hole 8 can be punishing to retrieve and will likely result in a bogey.
Other Thoughts:
Some players throw over the top of the fence on hole 7, but it is harder to clear than you think. A miss can take some time to retrieve, and it is unlikely to make par after that.
It is a good beginner/teaching course on a day with light winds.
Sunglasses might help on hole 9 in the evening as the sun lines up directly behind the basket.
Holes 5-6 drain slowly after a rain. Even if holes 1-3 look good, there may still be mud out there.
