Pros:

2013 update: Moved rating to Very Good. Course has been in the same layout for a few years now and is slightly tamer than the 2009 layout. (a few of the most memorable holes are gone)

note: Many of the pictures submitted by myself are from an old layout. course is in a differenct configuration due to construction on the mountain.

Most if not all holes include mild to extreme elevation changes. Plenty of long holes which make use of mountain terrain. The downhills are giddily fun, the uphills present a big-arm challenge. Nothing too easy or short, and a few holes are quite tough. Beautiful views. Exceptional facilities; free parking @base of chairlift, cold water, clean bathrooms, bar/grill @top.

Cons:

Discs are easily hung up on pine trees that line most fairways. Losing sight of a wayward throw is highly unforgiving at this course. Access is limited - either pay to play and ride the chairlift up or hike 2,000 vertical feet to the 1st tee. Not enough short technical holes IMO. Teepads are marked but are in bad shape and thus players tend to adopt their own spot (again not cool IMO)

Other Thoughts:

Overall an exciting and exhausting DG experience. There are a couple of great downhill 'signature' holes which really up the fun factor. For those who appreciate a hike while they golf this course is perfect. This course is shared by bikers and hikers, has no on-course trash cans, intrusion into other fairways is minimal.
