Pros:
Cement tee pads
Many holes have short and long tees
Baskets are in good shape and are my personal favorite, (DISCatcher)
Very technical course, will test you accuracy.
A variety of different holes (left and right shots) and elevation calling for different discs and throwing styles.
Cons:
Thorns and poison ivy on some holes.
Needs more waste baskets
Parks and rec doesn't pay much attention to the course
Baskets get taken out for the winter
Other Thoughts:
This course is one of the best in northern MN. It is beginner friendly and great for more experienced players.
The course is wooded but not so much that its overpowering. There are a couple holes that are short and fun to ace run, while a few others are long where you can open up a bit.
The parks and rec department is responsible for maintaining the park but don't pay much mind to it. Some of the more dedicated players make up for that though by creating bridges over water, sweeping the tees occasionally, planning cleanups, removing fallen trees and branches (if possible) and organizing leagues and tournaments.
Make sure you stop by this one if you're in the area or planning a road trip passing by here!
