New layout is great! drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 11, 2023 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Great, technical new course design! Lots of fun using differing discs and throw styles.

Cons:

Not quite finished in some fairways. Tractor tracks and some debris - seems it needs maintenance still.

Other Thoughts:

My first time to play this course, and loved it! It is quite technical and challenging, but I scored a -5 that included a DB on a hole. Im excited to play with friends!

Old course on the rise again drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 30, 2022 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Lots of variety on the course, technical and long holes.

Local club has been maintaining the course and working with the city to keep it in good shape.

Cons:

Rough can be treacherous.

Other Thoughts:

This course once has a bad reputation for not being maintained very well, but things are much better these days!

Pros:

Its fun to play, more advanced areas, after the first 3 holes its pretty easy to navigate, mostly flat terrain, everyones pretty friendly

Cons:

Snakes for sure, carry a stick with you if your going to be walking around the brush and def by the water. Sometimes they leave the "rough" out of control. No need for 3ft of tall grass, its in leander tee boxes

Other Thoughts:

Shell out some change for tee boxes. Clean bathrooms

Pros:

Challenging course with many different types of holes. Technical shots as well as wide open and short and long. Creeks and ponds to add to the mix.

Cons:

Rough can be pretty rough, sometimes hard to find your disc.

Other Thoughts:

The course is starting to shape up more and more, grass is mowed more often now a days and the rough is becoming less thick :)
