Shortround 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 7, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fair lines, fair course that plays short but gives you a nice challenge and temps you into aggressive throws to score.
Mint Innova baskets.
Tee boxes on all holes.
Plenty of seating throughout the course.
Good directional signage.
Nice woodwork thorugh the course ( lost and found box, all the bridges, benches).
Trash bins.
Unique addition of obstacles that create challenges without feeling hokey.
Easy to get to from highways.

Cons:

Tee signs do not have layout on them.
Tee and directional signs are laminated paper tacted onto small wood post. ( Proboly temporary until permanent signs are put in)
Hole 13. - only hole IMO that has an unfair line from tee.
Still a young course, so lots of debri in the fairways.
Tee boxes are crushed stone so divots are a problem.

Other Thoughts:

Had a really enjoyable round here.
Perfect place for a putter or 3 disc round, but you could still find yourself missing the plastic left behind.
With some TLC and local support from players, this place can really shine.

Could use some tweaks 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 8, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

1. Easy to navigate
2. Solid baskets
3. Well-defined fairways
4. Creative with the obstacles

Cons:

1. Very short
2. Teepads are on angles up or down
3. Some teepads need to be re-positioned

Other Thoughts:

This is a baby little course south of Manchester. I'm almost inclined to call it a practice course because most holes are under 240'. Don't get me wrong, there are some fun throws in this course, from big hyzers to flex lines that can keep every skill level entertained.

My main issue is the teepads and their locations. Many of the holes have better options for a launch location. I understand the designers are working with limited space, but for example, one of the holes is literally a 90 degree dog leg that will only tolerate a soft shot into the middle of the fairway with an impossible angle to the pin. Give this course another 2 years of rearranging and maintenance and it will be a fun course for all.

New course close to Manchester 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 4, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fun course! Opportunities for aces and birdies. Creative obstacles like giant truck tires & barrels. Free course close to Manchester. Variety of shots.

Cons:

A little swampy and smelling of sulphur on some holes. Shared with a mountain biking park, which seems a tad dangerous though we had no problems. Tee pads need to be leveled.

Other Thoughts:

Clearly new course they've been working on. Could use better signage. No doubt it will continue to improve!
