Great course, but in it's infancy 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Amazing elevation changes, scenery, distance, and few, if any other people around. Waterfalls.

Cons:

Muddy, muddy and muddy. Tee boxes are very hard to find. Worst yet, the so-called "gold" championship tee box bricks are painted with a gold that is so light in color, it is VERY EASY to confuse it as the white tee box. On about 6 holes, we mistakenly teed off from the gold tee, thinking it was the white (closer to the basket) tee. I am not a pro, and would appreciate being a throw closer to the basket, thank you very much. This problem can easily be solved by painting the gold tees bright yellow. Also, a very friendly, yet annoying dog from down the road followed us for 5 holes, fetching every disc we threw, putting teeth marks into several of our discs, before the angry owner drove up and took her home, apologetically. Hopefully this was a rare instance.

Other Thoughts:

This course, though unfinished, is amazing. One of my favorites, ever. This park is perfectly suited for a disc golf course. The final basket (hole 18), is perfectly placed in a stand of old pine trees. There could easily be another 18 hole course added to this park, (yes, please!). You have to go play it! Just make sure you wear waterproof hiking boots, and clear 3 to 4 hours out of your schedule first!
