Quaint little pitch n putt

Pros:
Bloomingdale Friends Church DGC consists of 9 relatively short holes squeezed into an acre of land around the eponymous church.
Even though these are short holes (longest one from the "long" tees is listed at 270) there's still enough mature trees on site to keep you honest. There are a few simple hyzer shots, but you'll have to at least have a modicum of accuracy if you want a putt for birdie on most holes.
Speaking of the "long" tees, they do a pretty good job of changing the shot shape just enough. It's not simply adding another 30-40 feet.
The course flows mostly intuitively and it's not that difficult to find the next tee. Hole 1 is located just south of the parking lot and from there it's pretty straightforward. The tee signs feature a general idea of what the intended line is, and each basket is numbered. I did a round of shorts and longs for a total of 18 holes and was outta there in under 45 minutes.

This is most certainly a putters only type of course. It's mostly just down and back for 150-250 feet trying to avoid the trees. I did use my stable mid from the longer tees on a couple holes but anyone MA3 and above would be just fine without one.
Didn't notice any real on-site amenities to speak of. There's a little cookout shelter type thing by hole 9 so I guess you could take a breather there if you wanted to before going back around from the other set of tees.
The rough on the right of hole 8 looked like a bad place to find yourself. I would know since that's where I found myself from both tees.

Other Thoughts:
I understand fun is subjective, but I'd challenge anyone to take their putter around here from both tees and tell me they didn't enjoy themselves at least once or twice. There's more than a few ace runs and enough trees to make you at least think about where you're aiming.
I would argue these are the kind of courses that help "grow the sport" the most. Fun little beginner tracks that you can just throw a frisbee around and enjoy yourself.
I can't say it's worth going very far out of your way for. But if you're in the area for the Bridge Festival or camping nearby it's worth checking out
