Pros:
I'd posted my review of the new course already, but apparently the new course will be separately listed. Pros: 18 baskets instead of 9. Tee markers for amateur and pro for each basket. Not as much "safari golf" as the old course- better bushhogging on the course. Good workout going up and down inclines. I like to camp in the adjacent campground.
Cons:
Even in winter, the gnats were awful. A few minor signage issues with the wrong basket number listed, etc, but nothing major. The briars and brambles are bad year round, so if your throws are like mine, plan on bringing some bandaids for the briar tears. It seems like a little bit of backtracking on a couple of baskets (like #5), but nothing too bad.
Other Thoughts:
The state park personnel, like most, seem to know very little about the disc golf course. I've made up a map and have a distance/elevation chart separately. I posted it to the old review board, will repost on this one. I did the map with a Garmin handheld.
