Pros:

It is well maintained. Better than Hoyt Grove as far as that goes but that is the only thing Boomer has better than Hoyt.

Cons:

Lots of long and open holes. Very few technical throws.

It is always windy. It is also often busier than Hoyt.

Why is this course rated 4 stars?? 2+ years

Pros:

It has cement tee pads, well mowed grass and features mostly medium to long holes with not many obstacles but a good usage of them. One over-the-lake shot with a bridge to get to the basket. Has road OB, a few tight holes near the end.

Cons:

Incredibly tough to navigate- I spent more time figuring out where the next hole was than playing the hole. Tee signs mostly damaged, yet no one has ever bothered to put the hole # on the left behind post, or basket. One tee faces the wrong way and caused confusion, #2 backtracks back by #1. Not very challenging or technical.

Other Thoughts:

Needs some serious fixing up to get above a 2.5 rating.
