- Hilly terrain on the front 9, good use of water/creek on back 9.
- Good mix on both right and left shots
- Good Tee-Pads and baskets
- Mix of long and short holes
- Excellent terrain usage

- Hard to find next pin
- Layout is not intuitive
- Hole 1 and 5 are hidden away with no markers

This course is better than 3 out of 5 stars rated here. I have played every course in central IL, and this is among my favorite for several reasons. Its elevation change and use of terrain is excellent, and while it is not as challenging as other courses in this area, its nice to have a course that you can shoot under par at still have a good challenge. The elevation changes the front 9 and the creek and water usage on the back 9 are well diversed and are the best part of this park. I find myself using both forehand and backhand shots fairly evenly.

Just a fun course with a great variety of holes. Well maintained in a city park but uses the landscape well to provide variety.

I guess Hole 1 is hard to find.

Another fun course for the less hardcore player.
