Pros:
-Lots of decently long throws to give you a chance to test out multiple discs
-Holes 1-13 are in the open, the back 9 has more wooded holes to mix up the field.
-Lots of parking; and it didn't seem very crowded.
-Baskets are in good condition, pretty new.(nice way to display Ohio State flags on each basket too, hence the course name)
Cons:
-As of this date, the course doesn't seem finished. Most of the teepads are not marked. Many of the early tees are probably on the walking path; I'm surprised they didn't paint squares there.
-Many of the tees had posts with signs, but only of a few of them were readable and standing. The rest were gone, or didn't exist.
-While there were some signs directing to the next tee; it wasn't entirely clear given the lack of signposts on each tee(or teepad itself).
Other Thoughts:
These are nice grounds for an expanding summer camp/winter retreat spot. I see the facility being used for company picnics, school retreats, and youth group activities. It will give a good chance to expose DG to lots of people.
The course is laid out really well. It just needs a little more done to make it really playable and enjoyable.
