Short course but so much fun!

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 29, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

Such a fun course to play a putter only round on or use to practice a shot that you normally don't use. My buddy and I were the only people on the course so we did multiple shots on each hole and had a blast.

Cons:

None

Other Thoughts:

Great course to take a first time player or a child to.

Bam! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 21, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

Technical, tree-lined pathways with challenger baskets. Love love love hole #1 truck bed tee!

Cons:

Just like other courses: muddy after a rain so can be slippery.

Other Thoughts:

All-in-all.....you play, you pay. That means the course is better maintained. Also > pro shop! BAM!

The Browns N Bowes - Sharlotte’s Web Course Is Another Example Of The Creativity Shown Here! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 9, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

The Browns N Bowes - Sharlotte's Web Course is a short pitch and putt with hole distances from 75' upwards to 250'. Right away, you can see that the same creative mind that was at work on the Browns N Bowes two excellent 18 hole courses was at work here. As you step up to hole # 1, you see that that your tee pad is actually the bed of an old pick up truck, circa early 1950's maybe. There should be a special prize for the first disc golfer who can identify the make, model and year of the pick up used here.

I was lucky enough to play both of 18 hole courses in February this year. At that time, they invited me to check out the little pitch & putt course. I played it and have been waiting five months for them to post it our DGCR. I'm not sure of why it took so long but that seems to be how things go here, kind of like Brown's Valley time.

The little Pitch & Putt course starts just left of the main building. The area it plays through is slightly hilly with lots of scattered trees. The baskets are smaller looking black, Gateway Bullseye models. The tees are turf. Length ranges from 75' to 250'. Like everything else here at Browns N Bows, the course is first class all day. The course has a raised basket (7 on a mound), a hanging basket (16), one sitting up in the rocks (18) and plenty of ups, downs, hsyers and Annie's.

Cons:

Maybe the availability.

It's a pitch and putt but a great warm up or cool down or Ace run.

Other Thoughts:

This facility is marketed as a wedding venue and the disc golf courses. However, the wedding business takes priority and therefore the disc golf is only offered randomly, possibly as seldom as once a month. They are hoping to find more times in the future. The entire facility reminds you of the most beautiful, the cleanest, manicured, landscaped city park you can imagine. Everything has been done first class. Every path, bench, bridge, set of stairs has been constructed the way one would if money and manpower were no concern.

You do want to experience the entire Browns N Bows collection. I guess that would include getting married so plan on the wedding, reception and three rounds of disc golf. You bride will love you forever for your consideration! What a great way to start your lifetime of eternal bliss together.
