One of the few ace runs on the course. When it is in the right a nice LHBH hyzer will get you right there. In the left spot a lazer right up the tunnel will do the trick.
Tough tunnel shot. It definitely pays to be on the left side of the meadow if you can. As tough as this hole is a par save is still possible if you don't hit the first tunnel. I have never seen this hole in the long but I want too... I hear it is murder and I like pain
The two different placements on this hole really feel like two different holes. In the short (~430') you really want to be on the left side of the fairway on your drive. The approach is tight and a little left to right. I have seen people hit the small gap through the little spindly trees on the right side working their shots right to left. In the long you want to be more centered or even right on your drive.
Tee pad is not real obvious if you have never played this course before. Start from the top of the hill at the turnaround. Super long par 3 when it is in the long, only the longer arms will be putting on their second shot. The shorter placement is an easier 3 but still no gimmie if your drive gets away from you.
Long fairly open par 4. The long location is a tough par 4, it is nice to be out to the left of the tree protecting this basket but that is not always a possibility if people are picnicking. In the short this is one you feel you got to get a 3 on, the tree protecting the short basket is impossible to go through once the leaves are on.
Short uphill hole. Left placement is tough for LHBH players right placement is tough on RHBH players. When it is in the right (next to the concrete structure) it is one of the few possible ace runs on the course.
Fairly open hole. Straight ahead fairway and landing area. Possibility to go to the left of the main fairway for LHBH players when the pin is in the long. No. 4 is to your left when you finish to find 3 take a right on the park road walk a ways and then the tee pad is on the left.
Hole is tougher than it first looks with OB on the right and thick brush with the Calapooia River on the left. If the hole is in the long you want a good drive to be putting with your second shot. Not the toughest hole but also not a gimmie par. No. 2 is over by the softball fields past the basketball courts, maybe 700' from the pin.
A rhbh hyzer shot high to the right will fade in nicely towards the short basket position, and avoids the fence of trees in front. It will also put you in a good spot for your second shot at the long position.
