A really great course worth your time 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 10, 2020 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Such a beautiful course set in a very scenic park. The holes offer a wide variety of challenges and it's a fun time for all. With so many trees, bushes, roots, and stuff it would seem that discs could get lost easy but that didn't happen. From most of the holes, you can see all the way to the basket so you can keep an eye on your discs the whole time.

Cons:

When you first arrive it's a little hard to determine which is the starting tee because there's a practice tee and several baskets on a hill that aren't actually part of the course. For your first time, it may take a little longer than normal to find the next tee but it's not that bad.

Other Thoughts:

I would recommend this course highly. Especially since both times, we played no one else was there and having the whole park to yourself was quite nice. We even saw some deer near hole 8.

Great course for what it is meant to be. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 2, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

New concrete tee pads, new clean signage, brand new baskets, excellent & efficient use of limited space in park to create some interesting holes, great for all skills, opportunity for a lot of aces & birdies, very thoroughly trimmed, not very easy to lose discs, and other activities in park.

Cons:

While there is a variety of types of shots they are all under 300 feet so some mostly short holes, first time through can be a little confusing as far as navigating, I stepped and stumbled on a few hidden small stumps (but I am a little clumsy), and this course is not going to be extremely challenging for seasoned players.

Other Thoughts:

I personally think this is a great little course, ten holes, nothing extremely challenging but still very enjoyable with a couple holes making me get creative. I also spoke with someone who put in some labor into the course and he was very helpful directing and giving some info about course. If your in gold beach this is definitely worth checking out especially if your new to the sport or with someone less experienced.
