Pros:

I liked that it was a part of a creative recreation area. There was a lot to do if you are an outdoorsy kind of person. We originally came here to get the geocache and found out it had a disc golf course. We went and got the discs out of the car and played. It had various difficulties-hills, flat grassy areas, corners, trees, obstacles etc. The best part was that it wasn't raining at the time. We were there during the week in the middle of the day so not a lot of people traffic nor waiting around to play holes. There are no fees (I've been to places where you had to pay a parking fee or a maintenance fee), lots of parking, there is a restroom and a covered area where the indoor skate park is. It's a unique place.

Cons:

It was not very well marked. We skipped hole 5 and 6 because the map was not very clear and we did not want to waste time, mostly because it was an island and did not want to get left here after the ferry's were done. We had more stuff to see since we've never been here before. Out out bounds was not clearly marked but most of the time we just play our own game anyway. The tees could be turned into cement slabs instead of sandy pits, I think it would improve the course and it would be less muddy during the rainy months.

Other Thoughts:

Wear shoes and long pants and watch your step, lots of holes and hilly areas.
