Fun course, but also dangerous. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 28, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

Lots of variety of shots required, and makes pretty good use of the space available.

Cons:

There are multiple tees located too closely to pin positions and on least 2-3 of them, the teeing area is completely blind to throwers playing to a nearby pin. During the tournament, we were lucky to have spotters telling us when it was safe to throw and not, but beware of hidden tees very close pins and fairways crossing over the top of other tees.

Other Thoughts:

While the course was fun to play, I suspect liability issues are in store for this course without some significant re-design.

Confusing but fun 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 7, 2020 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Lots of fun shots! It has left breaking, right breaking, blind, uphill and downhill shots. Enough trees to make it interesting. Pro and am pads on almost all holes. Great views of the DAM and lots of wildlife. No crowds ever that I've seen. SE Colorado is starting to get some quality courses.

Cons:

Confusing- some holes only have one tee box some have 2. The red tees are amateur and blue pro. The one problem I have is some of the holes only have one tee and there is no indication of those holes so you don't know where to properly tee off from. Possibly if they painted the pole by the tee boxes that have only one tee half Blue and half red it would be easier to figure out. This course can be rough lots of weeds.

Other Thoughts:

Love the expansion of SE Colorado disc golf. Kudos to John Martin for putting in a quality course!
