Pros:
* Beautiful scenic park setting with a river winding through the course.
* All holes are mapped at the beginning of the course and again at the tee.
* Tees are clearly marked.
* All holes have their number printed on them. That makes things SOOOO much easier.
* Excellent use of available space.
* Perfect course for a quick game at any skill level.
Cons:
* Tees are dirt, so when the ground is wet it's difficult to get a run up.
* Because of space restraints some holes require the player to backtrack just a bit to get to the next tee.
* Despite playing in the woods trees very rarely come into play.
* More holes than you'd expect play straight from tee to basket.
Other Thoughts:
The Cahoon Creek DGC in Bay Village is an absolutely playable course that is perfect for a quick pick up game with friends. The course plays alongside a winding creek through a park that is lightly forested. I'd call the course perfect for beginning and intermediate players, who will appreciate being able to get at or near par on many of the holes, while more experienced players will find that it's by no means a pushover. Is this a Medina or a Hudson? No, but I'd say it's perfectly acceptable to put it on par with Willoughby.
