Let's go camping 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 30, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Easy to follow directional signs
-Well built placards with distances and descent mapping
-Trails to lead around the course
-Great concrete teepads
-Practice basket
-A large variety of uphill/downhill and short/long shots
-Visible baskets from tee pads
-A few elevated baskets
-Multiple pin placements
-Multiple tee pads
-No crossing holes and decent buffers between holes
-Cleanly landscaped fairways

Cons:

-Some fairways are a little tight
-A couple baskets mounted on rocky cliffs with nowhere to lay up
-An unbalanced layout favoring LHBH, especially the long ones
-Not a fan of the stiff chains

Other Thoughts:

This is a great course that is very challenging. It's one of Spokan's best courses for advanced players . Fairways might be a little too tight and a bit long for beginners to thoroughly enjoy. The long holes are a doable par and a tough fight for birdies. The shorter holes are an easier bird, but require accuracy and finesse. I'm not a huge fan of the vortex baskets, but it's not too big of an issue and defiantly won't discourage me from playing the course in the future. Overall, this has instantly became one of my favorites. There is also a second course currently using buckets that is rumored to be going in permanently soon. This is a must play course!
