Difficult Putter Course 2+ years

Pros:
-An 18-hole par 2 putter course with variety that meanders thru moderate and light woods, ravines and elevation, green rollers, and short distance tunnels and doglegs. Baskets are well protected. Most of the course is within the layout of the main 18-hole course, and on private property.
-Distance on the course range from 30 to 135 feet.
-Tees are rubber and a few gaps to tee thru. Baskets are Discatcher that catch well. Tee sign information has hole number.
-The #8 basket placement which shares main course #11 long basket is within my top 20 for a knee knocker putt. The #1 tee plays off the owner's circular driveway a beautiful, landscaped setting that shares the tee location with #16 the main course, but separate tees.
-The course is very scenic, and the navigation is counter-clockwise. Most next tees can be seen from basket, but a few times had to pull up UDisc map to find tee.
-From the bag on the tee I only used putter. The course is good to play as a cool down course, after playing the main course.
-All levels of play will find the putting challenging and enjoy the ace runs!
-Both courses are on a beautifully landscaped property, the owner has invested greatly in the course's and there is no fee to play. There is separate parking for players, and plenty of it. Text replies have been very welcoming.

Cons:
-The course is mostly within the layout of the main course. Holes 7 thru 9 play across the main course #11 fairway and you'll not be seen from the 11 tee, nor will you see them. Elsewhere you'll see the main course tee areas. On both of my visits, I was the only one on the property.
-Lost disc potential, there are a few blind tee shots, on this visit in December for the par 2 heavy leaves on the course, did a little looking. My September visit playing the main course the fairways for the par 2 course were mostly clear.

Other Thoughts:
Cannon Ridge-Par 2 has the feeling of a miniature disc course with all the doglegs, gaps, guardian trees, tunnels, elevation, and roller greens. They all happen to be putter distance, and some difficult putting from the tee. The difficulty and fun factor made the putter course my favorite out of the six I've now played. Having seen the course a few months prior, I decided to run the aces and not worry about score. I only managed to hit one basket and chased a few disc down. I have no personnel cons on the course but do have a personnel preference. For myself not a warmup course but prefer a cool down course after playing the main course. Just don't want the memory of hitting trees as a warmup, and I hit a lot of trees on the par 2.
The course receives my maximum 3.0 rating I allow on a putter course, anchored on putting difficulty, no personnel cons, the miniature disc course effect, and the fun factor. The time to play taking pictures and chasing after a few discs was 30 minutes.
Notable Holes:
-No. 1 at 95 feet is teeing from the owner's driveway the basket sits in the open. Around the circular driveway is beautiful southwest landscaping scene. From the tee to the basket are two trees in the landscape about halfway distance with lower branches around 5 feet high, the gap between the trees about 10 feet. Difficult to putt thru with no foliage, but even more difficult when the leaves return. I felt this was the most scenic hole on the putter course and kept my putter low to the ground. The basket is protected by the tree on the right.
-No. 5 at 100 feet is a dogleg left at 40 feet teeing thru a tunnel lined with skinnies and canopy on top. The basket sits in the open with a guardian tree to the left. The tunnel gap is only about 4 feet wide. This was when I had the thought of a "miniature disc course". No straight shot to the basket.
-No. 12 at 45 feet is a straight to the basket on the slope of a hill right to left with O.B. on the left just 6-feet to the line of the basket. Two mid-size pine trees are right in front of you at 4-feet, the gap is only 1-1/2 feet at putting height, eh! At 6-feet in height the gap opens. The basket open with a tree a few feet to the left. I putted an up and over thru the gap, fearing a roller, but landed softly.
No. 13 at 95 feet teeing in the open on a down slope into a tree line about 20 feet from basket and the slope drops down hill with the basket on the side of hill. A few trees protect the basket and the O.B. line is about 12 feet past the basket. An intimating putt, and I went for it past the trees, basket, and O.B. line. Spent a few moments looking for my putter about 60 feet downhill.
Signature/Trouble Hole:
No. 8 at 40 feet from an open tee that is elevated higher than the basket stands. There is a depression from the tee to the basket, the depression was covered with leaves the depth at least 3-4 feet if not deeper, hard to tell. The basket sits on a ledge that's crowned and 3-feet in length, the ledge wraps around towards the tee. There are two guardian trees about 2-3 feet in front of the basket with a 4-foot gap. Behind the basket is a drop down a ravine about 15-20 feet in height and steep. There's a yellow rope to help you into the ravine for any missed putts. Another intimating putt, and I bounced it off the top of basket, sat my bag down, and lowered myself into the ravine.
