Pros:
- It is a nice facility.
- Offers a variety of shots.
- Nice touches such as bag hooks at the tee and the wood bridge on 2.
- Surprisingly challenging.
- Short and long baskets.
Cons:
Where do I start?
- Dangerous. Hole 1 you are directly throwing at the street. Hole 2 has a choice of streets to target. Hole 4 is the bomber hole with disc losing trouble to the left, so the safe play puts a busy dog park into play. Each time I've been here, I've seen people feet away from taking an errant disc to the dome.
- Navigation isn't necessarily intuitive. In the spirit of efficiency, I recommend starting on hole 2 and finishing on hole 1.
- No viable line on hole 2.
- Hole 5 is a long narrow low ceiling tunnel hole. The rough is filled with things that can physically injure you.
- The rough in general is borderline unplayable. I played this course when it opened in November '22 and thought it might "beat in". It has gotten worse.
Other Thoughts:
The local community was really excited to introduce disc golf to Clinton. And put together a 6 hole course that is both dangerous and not at all beginner friendly.
