Cedar Tree Love

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 16, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

2 tee pads and 2 pin placements on almost every hole
Great signage
Decent course flow
good mix of shots needed

Cons:

Honestly, I can't think of any

Other Thoughts:

What a course, well designed with several pin placements on top of rocks. You can choose to throw the short or long tee's on most of the holes and the course does have 2 pin positions on every hole.

This is a mostly wooded course that does have a couple of longer air it out holes towards the end. Several holes are though thick groves of cedar trees that they have cut all the lower limbs to make for a very nice scenic course.

The short tee's to short baskets would be a family friendly or good beginner course. The long tee's to long baskets would be just short of what I would consider a championship level course. However it would be very challenging for most players to score well.

Ron Converse Jr did a great job here. There is an old walking trail going though the course but it did not look like it gets used much. The bigger path does get some use.

Would I play here again? Yes, while not a destination course, I think this course holds it's own. It's been too long to remember the other course on the other side of town. But between the two of them, I would love to play them both again someday. (we use to do Thanksgiving on the lake for 30+ years, I miss going here specially that I would not have to drive over an hour to play a round)
