One of my favorites 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 19, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great course in a city park setting.
Bathrooms (seasonal)
Plenty of parking, practice basket.
18 holes with something different at each hole.
Quiet, peaceful surroundings.
Flat, easy to walk.
Some trees/water nice blend of both.
I live this couse!
3/2017 several baskets have new positions.

Broken Arrow needs to hire out David Wise for a few months!

Cons:

Walking trail could be an issue, just remember our creed and be nice. This is a public park, so it is used by many. Be patient and kind.

T-signs are rocks, and they unfortunately get knocked over.

Other Thoughts:

One of my favorite courses.
Not a course to drink a 30 pack...neighborhood/park setting. Keep it clean.
Great course with something for everyone, some trees, some water, some mostly open.
I like how they kept the old barn on the course.
Very well kept park.
Pack a nice lunch while your there.
Great job city of Owasso !

Something In The Water 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 14, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

+ Ample trapezoidal concrete tee pads set flush with ground resulting in great launching pads.
+ Mach 5 baskets.
+ Multiple pin locations for all but one hole.
+ Beautifully maintained turf throughout course.
+ Small beautifully chiseled headstones mark each tee pad giving hole number and distances.
+ Well balanced for righties and lefties.
+ Graceful flowing stream meanders through course coming into play on many holes.
+ 4 or 5 small lakes or ponds scattered throughout course come into play. Because of the many water hazards I pack at least two water discs.
+ Easy to navigate.
+ Concrete walking path throughout course makes for challenging O.B.
+ 4 or 5 holes to let the big dog eat.
+ Practice basket by parking lot.
+ Restrooms and drinking fountain on site.
+ Course sets in quiet Owasso neighborhood.

Cons:

- Concrete walking path runs through and around most holes and seems to attract many walkers so take care.
- No elevation changes to speak of.
- Walk from parking lot to tee one is about two football fields long.
- Trapezoidal concrete tees are in backwards. Short side in back.
- A few overly open holes.
- Course does not loop back during round so pack for 18 holes.

Other Thoughts:

The biggest con of the course is the concrete walking trail and the many walkers it attracts. You can't blame them however for wanting to be on such a beautiful piece of ground. With a little patience and common sense however not really a big of problem. Without this walking trail this course would be a solid 5 ranking. Many manicured fairways play along side and over a semi wooded creek. The creek itself is shallow and measures approximately 20 to 30 feet across making disc retrieval a easy chore. However retrieving a disc from one of the small lakes is a different story. Depending on pin placement this course can be very technical or a big arms dream. The residents of Owasso should be proud to have such a beautiful disc golf course in their backyard. Every time I come here it gets harder to leave. They must put something in the water.

Happy Putting

Lots of civilians 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 12, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- Great mix of long and short holes.
- Course is well groomed.
- Good amount of water hazards.
- Concrete tees on every hole.

Cons:

- There is a walking trail that goes through the entire course so you might have to wait for the lane to clear before you throw.
- Photographers love to use this course for photo sessions. They don't realize that those baskets might have high speed projectiles thrown at them.
- Ponds are pretty nasty so throwing your disc in is no fun.

Nice Short Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 5, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

I call it an Excellent course for a very short course. Maybe not demanding by any strech of the imagination for the experienced, but comfrotable, clean and maintained.

Cons:

What can I say, it's all par 3. It's short. The 18th hole is a disc eater with secondary pin placement accross a pond (not really a con)

Other Thoughts:

Tee boxes have been installed. Lots of trees and water hazzards to make an all par 3 enjoyable. If you are learning this is a very nice course. If you are experienced and you live close, it's a clean and a nice place to go play a short tune up course. Hole four and eighteen will at least make you think.
