A good course layout. Family and animal friendly, an outstanding group of locals and weekly doubles tournaments.
I think you are going to here a lot about how "open" the course is, even though the course is not set up in the woods the whole time, you cannot simply throw with reckless abandon and expect to play well here. You have to take the right line.

a little bit on the shorter side for an intermediate or a pro. But a solid challenge from the pro tee none the less.

Offers a chance to show off a full arsenal of shots, but doesnt really make you have to throw them. Holes set up to make you throw the same shot over and over again (which really isnt easy if ya think about it?) LOL

Can sort of get lost, with all of the tees and baskets. (this has to be the biggest problem.)


Course has multiple biking paths and walking paths and park is always full of people. So watch out or you might nail someone.

I have played here about 20 times and you will fall in love with the maitenance and the people. You can always seem to find someone to play with and show you around and its a pretty good course. If your on the north end of atlanta, this is a must.

I said the above statement before I really played this course in the summer time. It seems like in the summer they tend to let this course go and the grass can get pretty high especially in the wooded areas.

This is a great course, 27 holes with multiple tees - white for beginners, red for intermediate, blue for experiences, and some gold for the clinically insane. A good mix of wide open field for big bombs, and tight wooded holes for skill. A large resume of shots, overhand, rollers, distance, accuracy, weaves, etc are needed to keep scores down. It is a very fun course. A nice stream runs through the whole course, and it is maintained very well, it is trimmed one a week or so, and the poison in kept in check.

A few cons - the biggest complaint from most is the long walk, lots of hiking up and over hills, but thats the nature of the game. A bike path runs through the park, but i haven't heard of a biker being hit, just be careful. A few tees launch by a path and are near baseball fields, batting cages, or some public place, just be careful, its only like 4 holes though.

A few mandos, one on hole 1, stay right of the light posts, hole 15ish (cant remember) stay right of the hug oak tree. hole 3 is the toughest for me, a steep wooded tunnel that hooks uphill and to the right. a big forehand shot is required.

Have fun on this course, weekly tournies on sunday, and hosts other yearly tournaments as well.

27 holes of disc golf! Great scenic course, some holes (4-6) run along a crystal clear stream. Holes are mostly open holes through green fields with hills. Multiple pin positions and four tees on each hole!

I guess the course can be a long walk for some people. Although I didn't run into this problem when I played, there is a mountain bike trail that runs alongside the course and you may have to watch for bikers before you throw.
