Pros:
Course is fairly level with a lot of holes between 240 and 330 ft. If you can reach 330' off the tee you have a shot to birdy over half the holes, and at 290' you still have a good 3-4 chances per round of 18.
If there is snow, course is great and bring dogs. If the snow melts, course is good because the sandy soil dries very quickly - it is not muddy like some other courses. So great during / after snow or rain.
No real consequence to missing wide off the tee - there is nothing to hit. Distance is really all that matters. So, good for beginners.
Light traffic / use means you rarely have to wait.
There are a few holes at 350'+ and one at 486' - not many courses around have a really long hole. It's still a par 3 but that's not easy to do given the necessary length of the second shot.
Cons:
When snow is gone, don't bring a dog - too many thorns.
Wind is a con, but it's generally not too windy. However, if you want to learn to throw into a decent headwind or with a side breeze this is a good course.
The straightness of the holes is a bit boring, since you don't need a hyzer literally ever, unless to combat wind.
Other Thoughts:
Considering just on my own making the course more zig-zag by saying "you have to play outside that tree". There are a few trees but nothing that ever interferes with play. Could use them to make a "must throw left of this" and thereby mix it up a bit.
