The biggest pro to this course is it's not the typical easy church course. This course requires excellent shot shaping on every hole as it plays through the woods after hole 1. Extreme elevation through most of the woods. The fairways have been well manicured and shot placement is a premium with so many trees. I threw a variety of shots with RH forehand being the most used. Aces are not automatic despite the lack of length on most holes. Signage and concrete tee pads are on every hole.

Most holes are very short. Plenty of upshot practice through the woods. Some might consider a few holes to be too tight with trees.

The large elevation changes for the gully between holes 7 & 8 (if I remember right) did not get utilized.

Excellent course to practice your short game, and get your mind right with the scriptures available at each hole.

Discovered this course only three days ago. After being away from DG for 3 months, it seemed the shorter distances would help to get me going again. I was right.

The course does utilize the space given very well.
Each basket is a Mach 5 and all are really great shape.
Signage at each tee is positioned well and provide insightful information as to distance and basket placement.
There are a good variety of shots, using elevation, tree lines, and man made objects to made each hole interesting.
Challenges exist for hyzer / an-hyzer throws.
The course is well manicured and bridge also paving stone have been placed in areas of poor drainage.

The fall colors were spectacular and lots of wildlife were present as I traversed the course.

Overall this was an amazing course, though shorter, it simply works.

If you are looking for intermediate to advanced level courses. This one's not going to be for you.

Though pretty well guarded by the tree lines, there are a couple of holes where an overthrown or rogue disc could land on private property as residential homes run parallel with the course.

Excellent course to introduce any new player to the sport. Great for honing your P/A shots. Very nice quick play course.

Good variety and scenery for such a small course. Holes 2-8 of the course play through a beautiful, serene forest and offer a variety of technical shots. There are uphill and downhill shots and some that seem more forehand or lefty friendly and some that favor RHBH. However, quite a few of the holes have a choice of lines to throw off the tee.

Hole 1 makes the (short) journey to the woods and hole 9 emerges to an open-ish pin position back in sight of the parking lot. Both have obstacles to circumvent.

The flow of the course is intuitive, the baskets are new DGA Mach 5s, the rubber tee pads are serviceable, and the signage is descriptive. All well-done for a smaller nine-hole church course.

There is an open field for warm-up or practice and plentiful parking within sight of tee one.

Overall distance is the biggest drawback. The course is short. Some will play it with just a putter. I threw several different discs off the tees, but nothing high speed.

Every hole is birdie-able by most experienced players, but there are some tight lines in places, not just open shots that require distance control.

For such a short course, it has quite a few fairly long walks between holes. It's an enjoyable area to walk in, so I didn't mind, but some may find it annoying.

Though I found the course navigation to be intuitive, everyone might not think so and I did not see any directional signage on the course or a course overview map.

I enjoyed this course on a cool spring afternoon with the sunshine beaming through the leaves of the trees. The natural beauty is a definite plus and the variety of shots required to score well would make this a good course for a new player to learn on and develop a well-rounded woods game.

As short niners go, this is one of my favorites.
