Short and good for learning drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 29, 2022 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- Clearly marked baskets, Markers for each hole, unfortunately not all are very clear
- Good use of elevation and user of trees.
- Short course that allows for attempts at an ace(This was the first course I did get an ace on, and I am still little more than an amateur)
Trash cans on a few holes (1, 2, 5)

Cons:

- tee pads are starting to be a bit rutted out, some are short as well.
- No beautiful views.

Other Thoughts:

- despite being on school grounds and trash cans around, there is a lot of trash, beer bottles, and scraps

Most holes are pretty short. I have a small arm still and I can still park under a lot of the baskets. I was able to actually get my first ace here, and have improved my accuracy thanks to some trees causing you to have to use the turn and fade on a few holes.

Hole 3 is a down hill throw with trees and undergrowth forcing you to have to swing in a little blind to the left.

Hole 5 is a nice right bank in basked with trees blocking a left swing.

Hole 8 is a narrow corridor that is a lot of fun because it forces you to hug some trees.

Good for quick or multiple rounds 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 17, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Not very busy.
Elevation and woods add difficulty to a short course.
Good for working on short game and accuracy.
Good for a quick play or multiple rounds.

Cons:

Pretty easy course if you are accurate.
Tee pads could be better.
Short course.
Tough to play in summer once the vegetation starts growing.

Other Thoughts:

This is my home course. It's convenient and I've been playing about 6 months so it still challenges me since my accuracy still needs work. With the trees and elevation it's easy to get into trouble. Add in the wind and it can be challenging. We only play in the spring and fall. Once the leaves and bushes grow in it's easy to lose a disc. It's usually pretty slow so we like to make up a few holes on our 2nd play through. If you are in the area I think it's worth the trip.

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 16, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course is a nice course for beginners. All holes are short and easily reachable in a drive if the conditions are decent. Good variety of elevation change and open holes mixed in with wooded holes.

Cons:

Most holes can be reached with a putter. When I was there, there were a bunch of elementary school kids running around near where some of the holes are, so caution needs to be used. The tee pads could use more room for run ups.

Other Thoughts:

When I played this course there was a 25 mile per hour wind blowing the whole time. This made every shot ridiculously hard to execute, which meant I didn't like it as much I would have normally. Also it's spring so it was wet and muddy.
