Surprisingly Fun, Nice Surprise Tucked Away 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 10, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Hole 4 over the water fun risk factor.
- Beautiful park
- Nice mix of long and short
- All tees are cement
- Park is well kept and clean
- No real difficult/sloppy areas on the course.

Cons:

- No signage, without a course map you will not be able to play this course properly.
- Baskets could be updated. Baskets could be more clearly numbered, especially since there is no signage.
- Not a lot of demand for different shot selection, I threw every hole RHBH.
- Some tees too small (small quib mostly based on my own play style)

Other Thoughts:

There is a nice course map at the beginning, be sure to take a picture. You will need it since there is no signage on the course.

Fun Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 18, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

The park is in good condition with lots of mature trees. The branches were generally high enough not to cause unrealistic problems. The river was used well and even though it wasn't real wide, when you stepped on the tee pad you considered the chances of not making it. The use of natural features in the park was good. There are a couple of baskets close enough to the river you have to conisder your drives/approaches and even putts.

Cons:

There were a couple of holes that used man made features as obstacles and if those features are in use by other people, the hole may be unplayable at that time. There are a couple of holes where the baskets and tee pads are a bit close together and may cause issues on a busy day.

Other Thoughts:

I know some people skipped Hole 4 across the river on their first trip through which challenged me not to...so I didn't. I ended up paying the price as I lost a disc, but don't regret it. I really enjoyed this course and would like to take another shot at it and will if I get a chance during my travels around the state. It's a must play course if you are close.
