Nice day to play 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 21, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Some challenging distance holes that play both to BH and FH players. A couple holes with legit ace runs. Park was pretty well maintained around the course.

Cons:

No tee pads, it was a little damp so footing wasn't great on the grass tees. Would be great if the fairways were cut wider on the long distance holes...almost lost a disc buried in tall grass 30' from basket. Some holes on the back 9 were crowded (heads up).

Other Thoughts:

Like how the course played, so I'd come back to play it. However, I wouldn't choose this over PC, HP, SMP, legacy, etc.

Good Potential 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 14, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Runs through a mixed use park, but most of the course avoids it
- Nice baskets
- "19th" Hole

Cons:

- Navigating from 9 to 10 can throw you off if you're not paying attention
- No pads and no amenities
- Fairly repetitive

Other Thoughts:

They did a good job with what they have and there is good potential for this course: add tee pads, some amenities, and give the seedlings planted throughout the course time to grow, add a real bridge across the ravine at 2, and it could be a pretty spify course. I would say the front nine is more for those who are intermediates and the back nine is more for those who are beginners.

worth a look 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 16, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Course has a little bit of everything. Front nine has a variety of shots while the back nine is more links golf. Most all grass tees are comfortable to throw from. The course was well maintained with a nice haircut. Also 4 or 5 holes to fire the big gun.
+Can swing by parking lot after hole 9.
+ Concrete walking path makes for definite OB.
+ New Discatcher baskets
+ Some challenging basket placements by water and large rocks.
+ A great course to let the big dog eat.

Cons:

Navigation of course is somewhat easy. However finding hole 10 from 9 can be tricky. Swing by your ride after nine then 10 is an easy find.
- Concrete walking path borders 4 or 5 holes so take care.
- During prime hours park may become very busy.
- Turf maintenance is lacking.
- Some grass tees are becoming ruff to throw from.
- 4 or 5 holes to injure discs on rocks.
- Many very open holes.

Other Thoughts:

If you like a course that is open with many 400ft bombs this course is for you. Those who enjoy technical holes and shot making may want to bypass this course.
This course being in its infant stage shows a lot of promise. I can only hope to score my review higher in the near future because I will be playing this course again.

I left with a smile.
