Pros:

Community Campus DGC is located on the grounds of Green Bay Community Church. There's a decent amount of space out here to accomodate this nine hole course. The grounds were in great shape when I visited. Very clean and looks to be well taken care. The course plays along the lawn of the property starting on the west side for the first two (4) holes. Holes 3 (12) thru 5 (14) along with hole 6 and 15's tee pad playing on the south section. The rest wraps around the east and north side of the church leaving you pretty close to where you started.

The baskets are decent. Mach III's that are in ok shape and caught as well as can be expected of these. One basket placement per hole with two tees for each. This is why it's listed as an 18 hole course. So nine total baskets. One pin placement for each as well.

The tee pads are carpet. A few are just natural but most had the mats down for them. These were fine on my visit. Very dry recently though, so I can't comment on how they'd be in wetter conditions. These were alright.

The course has a little bit of elevation and incorporates the scarce amount of trees out there pretty well. The last 3 (6) holes play completely wide open though. They do add a bit more distance at least. A pond can come into play on holes 3 and 6 with a terrible shot or wind lift. There's also a pond and marsh are right behind hole's 6 and 15's basket that is far more likely to come into play. Shouldn't for most experienced players but it is there.

There's tee signs at every hole except hole's 2 and 5. These are super basic but are better than nothing. Rudimentary hole map, hole # and distance on a piece of plastic attached to a metal post. Helps you locate the various tee pads at the very least.

Free to play and permanent. Almost assurdedly never going to be busy.

Cons:

Hole 2 was missing the tee sign. Not a big deal since the basket is right there in front of you. Not a clue where hole 5's tee pad or sign was located though. I even walked around more than I normally would for a course like this since I was taking pictures of everything. Not even sure where it possibly used to be.

The front "9" is basically just the longs. Back "9" are the shorts. Not sure why it's not just labeled this way. Nobody, unless they live right near here, is playing 18 holes here.

The last three holes are extremely redundant. Wide open shots. They do add a little bit of distance but not much. Real let down to the round, whether you're playing 9 holes or 18, since it still ends that way.

These tee pads are made out rubber bottomed mats that you'd buy at Walmart. Entryway mats to set your shoes on basically. These will not last. In fact a few of them are already frayed and mangled looking. Natural pads would've been the better choice here.

Other Thoughts:

This was a one and done type of course for me. I figured coming into it that it'd be. My one round here confirmed it. It started out out throwing a drive from each tee to speed things up. That lasted almost 3 holes before I just decided to accept the fact that it's just a nine. I just played the shorts and "took" all 3's from the longs and whatever I got from the shorts.

I can't recommend this one to anybody travelling thru the area. There's multiple better options nearby. Very close actually. Play it if you must.

Pros:

It is fairly open and has great baskets. Perfect amount of challenge.

Cons:

Bad throw and it will land in a sewer run-off pond.

Other Thoughts:

The tees 10-18 are just shorter shots for 1-9. They should have called them beginner and advanced tees.
