Other Thoughts:
Played this course on a seasonably warm and sunny mid-December afternoon. I lived in Canal Fulton some 20+ years ago for a little bit and It's a quaint Canal Town. Course is set in a small wooded section of park land between the Senior Center and Police Station. Primarily wooded there are a few holes that are open while the remaining six require shot shaping through the trees.
It's a compact course, but utilizes the woods and elevation extremely well. A great mix of distances and hole types provides a very nice variety. Course is still relatively new but concrete tee pads and sign posts are installed. All holes are well defined and this course will age well over the upcoming years as it gets more traffic.
Ample parking lot and a nice small park setting apart from the course. This nine is repeatable so you could easily play until your heart is content, and it should appeal to most skill levels and groups. The pads are a bit on the short side, but they are backfilled nicely so you can still get a good X-step if the ground is dry. Both the course and park are fairly basic in what is offered, but you are not far from downtown and the rest that Canal Fulton offers. Good place to visit and spend some time.
