Located on a decent ball golf course, this course has multiple tees on about half the holes. The tees are dirt, but identified with easy to see twin posts, white for short and blue for the long tees. Strategically placed next tee signs make navigation, along with the course map, not difficult at all.

Mostly played in the open, several baskets are tucked in, behind or near trees, with a couple of small ponds and a little creek coming into play. It is a very long course, with length being the primary area of difficulty.

Since it's on a ball golf course, it is well maintained, with short grass and very clean. There is a snack bar and bathrooms on site. Rental discs and course map are available and you can also play the course with a golf cart. Neither the ball or disc golf course was very crowded, you'll probably have the course to yourself.

Obviously, you have to share the course with ball golfers, and they take priority. If crowded, this could slow you down. Also, the two courses overlap, so you have to be aware of potential golf balls flying in the air, or being on a ball golf fairway, while they are waiting to play.

Holes 1, 2 and 18 are near the ball golf driving range, so be very cautious if someone is hitting balls.

Holes 15 and 16 fairways are parallel to each other, and hole 15 has a mando that forces you to basically land in 16 fairway.

It's been over a year since the last review, and this course has addressed a lot of those previous issues and has come a long way, and is much improved.

The course proprietor is very friendly and helpful. Before my round, he went in depth with me with the course map of all the holes, how they played and landmarks to look for to help in navigation.

I'm hesitant to say this is a must play since it isn't really located in a convenient or disc golf popular area, so it's an effort to get too. If you are going from Augusta to Charleston, you will basically pass right through it, and it's a perfect excuse to take a break from your travels to play it.
