Worth a look 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 25, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

-A nice place close to town to throw distance.
-Between mando's and the rough they force just about every tee shot with good distance.
-Even with the open course layout they still have a few interesting pin locations.

Cons:

-It was busy with walkers on the path, even on a Thursday morning.
-Tee pads blow.
-Was able to find my way with the map in media files, but I could see hpow it could be an issue.
-If your not out to work on distance, you might not have a good time

Other Thoughts:

I wasn't going to review this course, bu tI thought a 1.5 rating was a little harsh. I gave it a 2.5 because of the pros. Close to town and Hendersonville. Interesting long tee shots.

Busy park but still fun 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 16, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

open layout (not counting trails)
distance shots
varying left/right baskets

Cons:

Planned out around walking trails
crowded/busy
shots are basically the same
long shots (for those who cant throw far)
if i recall tees were non-existent
hard to find hole 2 tee off
wet/bugs

Other Thoughts:

Over all i liked this course, if it was on a day that it wasnt busy.

This would probably be a home course for me if i lived in the area. Great for practicing throws as the layout is pretty open for most of the holes.

Like i said tho, downside is it the trails/paths. People were everywere.

Beginners luck 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 16, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Safe options on every hole. Risk/reward decisions on 5 holes. Water, woods, and OB lead to strategy but not too penal. Variety of distances 330' to 540'.

Cons:

Weaves through walking trails and near a soccer field. This leads to some distractions. Very flat so puddling in field an issue after heavy rains.

Other Thoughts:

A good course for beginners. Nice baskets. Free.
