A diamond in the rough!! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 6, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Gem of a course in a surprising spot. Not another course around for hours. Right in town but is a stand alone course with privacy. Has many different shots and lots of scenic beauty. With ducks on the ponds where you throw across twice, to deer romaing the woods around. Has elevated greens for putts and elevated T-pads for some epic Ace runs. Many new benches on most of the holes, so leave your little stools at home.😑 Also there is a driving range only for DG and the course is designed right around a bar and grill!

Cons:

Newer course, so some things are changing but always for the better. Some tee signs are off a bit. Tee pads can be muddy making you move over to a new spot to throw. Baskets are not the most expensive kind but do have two hanging baskets, also one in a tree stump, and one in a tree house.

Other Thoughts:

Glad there's a place like this for people to enjoy for free.

Really Good Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Sep 24, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

There are a lot of different shots you have to throw. And talking with Bart the course designer, he has done a lot to up the difficulty of the course.

Cons:

Even though you have to throw a lot of different style throws, they still are clumped together. The straight and long ones are together, and so one for the different shots.

Other Thoughts:

Pretty good course. Talked with Bart and he has made signs to put on the holes. Although he still has the itch to continue to change the course. There are mandos on holes, they have arrows on the trees. They are different colors so watch for them. Most of them are there to keep from going into other hole's fairways, and in the case of #5, the mando keeps you from throwing directly over #6's teebox.
