Bring a putter you can afford to lose. 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Well placed between St. Louis and Iowa city were my In-laws live.
Sweet picnic area with shelter and water.
7 playable holes.
Pleasant walk in the park with the wife and dog.

Cons:

Very narrow fairways in the summer.
Thick rough to hide your disc.
Hole 8 was unplayable and hole 9 was missing.

Other Thoughts:

This was the first coarse my wife and I played on our 3 week summer vacation. As a pit stop for a picnic snack and quick stretch it's okay, putters only, and nothing you love. I would play this coarse again, but only in late fall or early spring.

Tough Little 9 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 6, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice setting in between farmland in a small park with playground. Good tee signs with map of hole and distance. Concrete teepads are of decent length. DGA baskets.

Cons:

The fairways were mowed however very narrow on a few holes (about 12 feet wide on holes longer than 300 feet) with unforgiving rough about 3-4 feet tall and very thick. Basket # 2 was all the way in the ground. Basket #9 was about to come out of the ground. Course could use some trimming of overhanging limbs.

Other Thoughts:

Course is less than 1 1/2 miles from major hwy. Peaceful setting. Needs some maintenance. Worth playing if in the area.
