Almost There 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 24, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

A good friend and I designed this course I love it. It was originally laid out for 27 holes, but due to fundage we only got 9. Fairways have been widened as of sunday with a brush hog. Now you can sufficiantly play and not worry about a lost disc.

Cons:

Next step is to fix T signs and pads, which I plan to do this week. After that should be good to go.

Other Thoughts:

At some point soon I will be starting a doubles league, most likely on Sundays. In the early fall I also plan to have tournament with more holes as temp baskets. All cash payouts look fort the flyer at the end of summer. Please keep posting your thoughts, for they will be taken into consideration.

Home town course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 5, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

good length to were you dont have to worry about over shooting the basket on the tee, has a real golf course feel to it when the grass is mowed. also give the town something to do growing up around this area there is litterally not much to do for activities

Cons:

weeds on the side of the fairway are easy to loose discs in I have done it as well as the people that were playing in front of me today so be careful. when it rains a lot the lower terrain floods out but it is on a lake so you cant fight mother nature. Middle of Nowhere (I live 5 minutes from there so not a problem for me)

Other Thoughts:

I think this is a decent course to give a disc golfer a workout in all aspects of there game if it werent for the tall grass and trees surrounding the course I would say this is a good free course to play.

short but "sweet" 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 11, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

The fairways are well maintained and manicured as of 4/11/11. There is some good distance on a holes 1, 7, 9. There is not much traffic, so virtually no waiting. Baskets are new and labled with orange numbers. Nice scenery, overlooks Rush Lake.

Cons:

The tees are marked with a green post with white PVC on them, but no numbers, this makes it hard to know what tee you are at. The setup is a little hard to follow, they mowed paths to keep you on track but hole 5 is down the walking path 30 yards on the left, through a cut path in the brush, down a hill. Then hole 6 is across the road from the tee and out of sight to the right. once you get those two figured out it is an easy course to follow.

Holes 5 and 9 are a little wet and muddy right now, but should dry out.

Other Thoughts:

Overall nice course for the area. Everything is brand new. Small park area attached with fishing pier and bathrooms. Only 9 holes but worth a try.
